"CORPUS CHRISTI" MASS & PROCESSION

Thursday 7th June at 0820hrs the Servers,Deacon and Priest processed from St Mang Basilica to the Courtyard of St Mang Monastory,now the Füssen Town Hall.

However prepartions had began at 0500hrs that morning,when a group of ladies assited by the two sacristans got ready the three Altars which were to used.Carpets of flowers adorned the altars.(for photos and news in German about the preparations click here)

Mass was celebrated by Monsignor Karlheinz Knebel and Father Rudolp Böhm with Deacon Fredl Hofmann assisting.Thousands either joined the procession or lined the streets to watch it. 

After Mass the Procession was lead by the Procession Cross with flags,followed by Mother of God Standard,Family Flag,Ladies League,KAB;Kings Private Gunners,Shooting Guild,
