On Friday 23rd November children from Acht Seligkeiten and St Mang meet at Different times in Seeloshaus to prepare the Nativity Play they will perform at "Heiligan Abend Mass".All children were given the parts they will perform.
Brigitte Bock,Parish helper for children with the excited children who are waiting to see what part they will play in the Nativity Play.This is the St Mang Group
Everyone practices being the shepherds in the fields
The Angels come to the shepherds!
Time for going home after an enjoyable practice.

MAKING AN ADVENT WREATH
On Saturday 1st December 2007,the 1st communion children we invited to make Advent Wreaths in the Parish Rooms at Acht Seligkeiten.Brigitte Bock,the Parish Children's Worker organised the event.
Whilst the children were making the wreaths they sang some Advent Songs as well.

2nd DECEMBER 2007
In the Churches of St Walburga,Weisensee,Acht Seligkeiten & St Peter & St Paul,Hopfen the 1st communion children were invited to the 1st Mass of Advent.They were asked to bring their Advent Wreaths which they had made so they could be blessed at the beginning of the Mass.
The children in Weisensee surround the Altar at the start of Mass.
Monsignor Karlheinz Knebel blesses the advent wreaths that the children are holding.First with Holy Water then with incence.
The children have started the New year of the church watching,waiting and praying,for the Saviour of the world to come,not only at Christmas but into thier hearts and souls when they make their 1st communion
in 2008.

FRIDAY 14th DECEMBER
PRACTICE IN ST MANG BASILICA FOR THE NATIVITY PLAY:UNFORTUNATELY DUE TO THE SCHOOL WANTING MANY OF THE CHILDREN FOR SINGING IN THE CHRISTMAS MARKET,CAUSING THE PRACTICE TO BE RUSHED AND THE BAD BEHAVIOUR OF SOME OF THE CHILDREN,THE PRACTICE DID NOT GO VERY WELL.AN EMERGENCY PRACTISE HAS BEEN CALLED FOR NEXT WEDNESDAY AT 1700hrs

The children have the final and full dress rehearsal for the Nativity pageant.
